In late 2011, an investor approached Websilk to conceptualise and develop a novel enterprise platform for a class of professional service organisations. The enterprise platform needed to encompass:
- sales automation
- project management
- resource management
- task management
- customer self-service portal
Websilk drew on its collective product development expertise to develop a powerful, functionally integrated, workflow-driven application platform designed to drive business performance. Websilk presented the alpha version as a web-based application in December 2012.
The alpha version formed the basis for further investment into the platform. A beta version is due in late 2014, with plans for commercial release in 2015.
